Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to RoliePoll ("Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). RoliePoll is a real-time public opinion polling platform operated by XavierPlatforms ("Company"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RoliePoll website, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using RoliePoll, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

RoliePoll has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Users who violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines will have their accounts terminated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use RoliePoll. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use RoliePoll with parental or legal guardian consent. You must create an account using Apple Sign-In and represent that all information you provide is accurate.

Certain features, including location-verified polling, may only be available in specific geographic regions. You agree not to misrepresent your location.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use
  • Do not share your account or create multiple accounts
  • Each individual may maintain only one RoliePoll account
  • Creating multiple accounts to manipulate polls or evade suspensions is strictly prohibited

RoliePoll uses a tiered verification system: Basic (Apple Sign-In), Email Verified, Phone Verified, and Location Verified — each unlocking additional capabilities.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on RoliePoll (polls, comments, votes, profile information). By submitting content, you grant RoliePoll a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating the Service.

You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights and complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Poll Manipulation

  • Create fake accounts or use bots to manipulate poll results
  • Coordinate with others to artificially inflate or deflate outcomes
  • Use VPNs, proxies, or other tools to misrepresent your location
  • Vote multiple times on the same poll through any means

Harmful Content

  • Post illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post spam, unauthorized ads, or malware

Platform Abuse

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse engineer the platform

6. Voting Integrity

Each verified user is entitled to one vote per poll. We employ device fingerprinting, IP analysis, geolocation verification, behavioral pattern analysis, and rate limiting to detect and prevent manipulation.

Attempting to circumvent voting integrity measures may result in immediate account suspension, removal of votes, and permanent ban.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by XavierPlatforms and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "RoliePoll" and the RoliePoll logo are trademarks of XavierPlatforms.

8. Third-Party Services

RoliePoll uses Apple Sign-In for authentication, subject to Apple's terms. The Service may contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their content or practices. Polls may be embedded on third-party websites, and these Terms still apply.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of poll results or User Content. Poll results represent the opinions of participating users and should not be interpreted as scientific surveys. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XavierPlatforms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless XavierPlatforms from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via settings or by contacting support@roliepoll.com. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service immediately ceases and we may delete your account and content.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States. Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting legal@roliepoll.com. Unresolved disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

You and XavierPlatforms agree that each may bring claims only in individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
